World Museum’s entomology department includes an extensive and wide-ranging library for use by anyone with an interest. Access is during weekdays by prior appointment. Most books are reference only although Tanyptera Workshop Books may be borrowed for 6 month periods. Tanyptera subscribe to several British entomology journals and these may also be accessed during your visit.

Considerable investment has recently gone into bringing the library up to date with the latest key British and European texts and this is an on-going process. We are extremely grateful to our fantastic volunteers, Anna Jackson and Bill Bowers, for all their cataloguing efforts.
