Teggs Nose – 31st July 2024

The landscape and wildlife of Tegg’s Nose is varied with both meadow and moorland conditions on the rocky slopes, and woodland at the base of the summit. More detailed information can be found in the site leaflet here. This was a joint recording day with Sorby Natural History Society and Cheshire Bee Group.

Bromius obscurus (Chrysomelidae), J. Flanagan & R. Atherton

  • Restricted distribution in the UK but more recently found in more sites in Cheshire, North Lincolnshire and Staffordshire
  • New Cheshire site
