Docker Moor is a private moorland / plantation complex in North East Lancs, managed for forestry and as a shooting estate. Mothing trapping has been conducted on the site for several years, and many species recorded in abundance are typical of heather moorland. There is also enough Bilberry to support colonies of scarce macro-moths Manchester Treble-bar and Bilberry Pug.
