Spider-hunting Wasps (Pompilidae) Webinar

Known as ‘spider-hunting wasps’ or ‘spider-wasps’ Pompilidae are one of the more easily recognised of the aculeate families. This webinar will look at their ecology and behaviour along with identification of some of the species most likely to be found in the North West.
Speaker: Tony Parker is the Assistant Curator of Vertebrate Zoology at World Museum, Liverpool. His main interest is British wildlife, with a particular emphasis on recording the natural history of the North West region. Tony is involved in several projects regarding recording and monitoring the distribution of birds, mammals and hymenoptera in the region and is the Aculeate Hymenoptera recorder for Cheshire.
The presentation will be followed by an interactive question and answer session.
