Ground Beetles Webinar

This webinar will provide a general introduction to Ground Beetles (Carabidae) and how to find, identify and record them. It will focus on species most commonly encountered by general naturalists in the field, including those that are often confused with each other. It will also cover tips on what to show in photographs for identification, and briefly consider genera where a microscope is usually required for identification.
Tutor Information: Chris Foster has been the organiser for the national Ground Beetle Recording Scheme since 2019. He is a lecturer in Animal Ecology at the University of Reading where he teaches on the MSc by Research in Entomology.
The presentation will be followed by an interactive question and answer session.
