Docker Moor Invertebrate Recording Day

Docker Moor is a private moorland / plantation complex in North East Lancs, managed for forestry and as a shooting estate. Mothing trapping has been conducted on the site for several years, and many species recorded in abundance are typical of heather moorland. There is also enough Bilberry to support colonies of scarc macro-moths Manchester Treble-bar and Bilberry Pug.
We have access to toilets and shelter at this site.
Please be aware that whilst we welcome invertebrate recorders of all experience levels, our recording days are not taught or guided sessions. (Check out our webinars/workshops here).
