Beetles: Field Techniques for Biological Recording

Join Lancashire and Cheshire County Beetle Recorder Don Stenhouse at this diverse nature reserve to learn about the various methods that can be used to find beetles for biological recording. Somes examples that will be demonstrated include beating, sweep netting, pitfall trapping, hand searching and vacuum sampling.

This workshop will involve some light, staggered walking as we look at a few areas of the site.
