This report intends to add to our knowledge of shieldbugs in the region with particular reference to the Sefton Coast. It includes an introduction, methods and results, with the main bulk of the report dedicated to illustrated species accounts for 14 species (based on 333 records) that have been found on the Sefton Coast. Species that may occur on the Sefton Coast but have yet to be recorded also feature. The reference list includes the key regional and national reports on the group.
