To successfully identify a spider it’s helpful to know which family your spider belongs to first. This online webinar will guide you through all the spider families that occur in Britain, providing helpful pointers to recognise them in the field and down the microscope.

Richard Gallon (from the British Arachnological Society) will take you on a journey through our diverse and fascinating spiders. The talk will last about an hour, but there will be plenty of time for questions afterwards.

This session will run on Zoom. If you are new to Zoom you will need to create a Zoom account and download their software. This is all free and you can do so here.

You can use a laptop/desktop computer, smartphone or tablet and it isn’t necessary to have a webcam or microphone to participate.
