Ants: In-person workshop

Content: This workshop will be a basic introduction to the ecology, behaviour and identification of common British ant species.
Our Tutor: Tony Parker is the Assistant Curator of Vertebrate Zoology at World Museum, Liverpool . His main interest is British wildlife, with a particular emphasis on recording the natural history of the North West region. Tony is involved in several projects regarding recording and monitoring the distribution of birds, mammals and hymenoptera in the region and is the Aculeate Hymenoptera recorder for Cheshire.
Covid Measures
In order to keep our attendees and staff safe we encourage anyone attending our workshops to:
– maintain social distancing
– wear a face covering when in a shared indoor space (unless exempt)
– clean/sanitise their hands regularly.
– take a Covid-19 lateral flow test before arrival.
Access
There are lifts between each of the floors and assistance dogs are permitted.
