Cavity Nesting Mining Bees Webinar

5th May 2021 | 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Ron Rock (Bumblebee Conservation Trust volunteer) will give you an insight into the wonderful world of the cavity nesting solitary bees (including Mason & Leafcutter bees). A look at the nesting strategies of these bees will be followed by a look at bee hotels and finally some ID tips for this remarkable group of insects. Ron has been studying and caring for these bees for the past 12 years and is never happier than when spending time with the ‘little people’ that share his garden.

The presentation will be followed by an interactive question and answer session.

Please book your space via Eventbrite and you will be sent information on how to join the webinar.

This session will run on Zoom. If you are new to Zoom you will need to create a Zoom account and download their software. This is all free and you can do so here.

You can use a laptop/desktop computer, smartphone or tablet and it isn’t necessary to have a webcam or microphone to participate.

Further info on how to join a zoom meeting can be found here.
