Danes Moss Invertebrate Recording Day

A general invertebrate recording day at the largest and highest lowland raised bog in Cheshire. This is a nature reserve managed by Cheshire Wildlife Trust.
The emphasis is on recording invertebrates and therefore the day is not suitable for the absolute beginner bug enthusiast.
The terrain is generally flat on the boardwalks and paths, however off these walk ways (where we want to record) there are large areas of bog and very wet areas. Wellies are essential for this site, even during dry spells in high summer. Up to 15 minutes walking will be required to reach the site. Participants should also be fit enough to be on their feet for the majority of the day.
Further details regarding parking etc. will be circulated a week before the day. The site is not accessible from public transport. The nearest WC facilities and shelter may be over 1 mile away.
