Yealands Invertebrate Recording Day

A general invertebrate recording day at two high quality limestone sites in the Yealands area of North Lancashire.
The emphasis is on recording invertebrates and therefore the day is not suitable for the absolute begginer bug enthusiast.
We will also be keeping a look out for Doros profuges, a Nationally Rare and elusive hoverfly on the Tanyptera priority species list, and also the nationally rare macro-moth, Least Minor. Both species will be in the adult stage during our visit.
The terrain is restrictive to access so particpants will need to mobile enough to cross uneven and hilly unmanaged paths, as well as areas with no paths at all. Partipants shoud also be fit enough to be on their feet for the majority of the day.
Further details regarding parking etc. will be circulated a week before the day. The nearest WC facilities and shelter may be over 1 mile away.
Adults Only.
