Slugs Workshop

A one-day workshop with Imogen Cavadino, learning about slugs, their ecology and how to identify and record them.

This workshop will cover:

  • An introduction to slugs and their ecology
  • Identifying live slug specimens to species using the FSC AIDGAP key Slugs of Britain and Ireland
  • How to get started recording slugs

Our tutor: Imogen Cavadino has been studying slugs and snails intensively for the past six years. She trained in terrestrial mollusc identification as part of the TCV “Natural Talent” Apprenticeship scheme, and is currently completing a PhD on understanding slug and snail diversity in Britain.

Lunch is not provided but tea, coffee, water and biscuits will be available.
